Review: Tantus B-Bomb

I lusted after this plug for a long, long time. Tantus is indeed one of my favorite sex toy brands, and I’ve yet to be disappointed by one of their creations. Much thanks to Funwares for sending me this excellent anal toy for this review!

The Tantus B-Bomb is an bomb shaped butt plug made out of 100% hypoallergenic, non-porous, phthalate & latex free glossy silicone. The bottom has a hollowed out hole where the included bullet vibrator can be placed inside. Putting a bit of cornstarch or a drop of water based lube into the hole before inserting the bullet is a good idea, as this makes it much easier to remove.

The plug is 4 1/4″ long (3 1/2″ insertable) and has a tapered tip which gradually increases in size up to the full 1 1/4″ before dropping down to the 1″ neck. The base is a little over 2″ which means you should not have any worries about it slipping inside, but it may feel slightly uncomfortable between your cheeks. It wasn’t a huge nuisance for me, but it was noticeable. The single speed, waterproof bullet is made of an ABS plastic and runs on three LR44 watch batteries.

The first time I tried playing with this plug, it seemed to be that the tip was a little on the pointy side. It may have been that I just wasn’t relaxed enough in that moment though, since the subsequent times I tried it out it went in smoothly without feeling like it was too pointy. The size is a little intimidating for a beginner, and even though I knew I could take it all in, I worked up to it slowly. I would call this plug an intermediate size, but a beginner may be able to enjoy playing with it as well.

Once I was comfortable enough to fully insert the B-Bomb, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it felt. I’ve just recently been able to start using plugs for longer periods of time, and was able to keep this one in for just under an hour with minimal discomfort. I haven’t tried to orgasm with it inserted, so I can’t say much about that, but wearing it around the house walking, sitting, bending over etc. didn’t cause it to shift or fall out at all. The bullet does stick out, and I thought it might get in the way while sitting but it didn’t seem to and I was able to easily reach down to turn in on and off as I wanted. The vibrations from the bullet are fairly light and could be felt, but didn’t really made a big difference in pleasure for me. I do think this plug is a must for any anal toy lovers collection!

As always, silicone is super easy to clean with soap & water or sex toy cleaner. It can also be boiled, bleached, and placed in the dishwasher without detergent if you would like to sanitize it in between partners or uses. The bullet is waterproof, but it should be removed and cleaned separately with soap & water or a damp cloth. Be sure to only use water or oil based lubes with your silicone toys, since a silicone based lube may damage them.
